Parramatta Light Rail Stage Two EIS

Now is your chance to have a say on the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for Parramatta Light Rail Stage 2, to help shape the final design for this once-in-a generation transport project.

The public exhibition of the EIS is a vital part of the planning process and provides the perfect opportunity for you to learn more about the project and have your say.

As shown in the map below, Parramatta Light Rail Stage 2 will link Stage 1 and the Parramatta CBD to Sydney Olympic Park, delivering a much-needed public transport solution to connect Greater Parramatta to the Olympic Peninsula.

Stage 2 will provide services approximately every 7.5 minutes between 7am and 7pm on weekdays, and 14 fully accessible stops over a 10-kilometre two-way track. An 8.5-kilometre walking and bike-riding path parallel to the light rail corridor will link to the existing network.

The EIS is open for comment until Wednesday 7 December 2022.
