Council is seeking feedback on two shortlisted name options for the unnamed Community Centre - Yarra Community Centre and Uhrig Road Community Centre.

The new community centre is a $6.13 million project funded through the NSW Government's Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants Program (formally known as WestInvest), situated on the ground floor in Meriton's new development at 10 Uhrig Road, Lidcombe (Carter Street Precinct). The centre will be Council owned and operated, and feature bookable spaces including a main hall and three smaller multi-purpose rooms, a quiet study space with extended hours and digital library e-resources and services.
