The Neighbours Nurturing Nature Volunteer Program presents the first of our online education sessions for volunteers in 2023,

In this session we'll learn about the iNaturalist platform that helps you identify the plants and animals around you. iNaturalist gives you access to experts in your pocket and gives you the chance to become part of a community of scientists and naturalists. By recording and sharing your observations, you’ll create research quality data for scientists working to better understand and protect nature.

Leading the session will be thebeachcomber, one of the most prolific contributors to the iNaturalist site in Australia.

The presentation will go through the basics of how to record your observations and how to review others contributions. There will be an opportunity for questions at the end.
